Business Manager – Young NSW 

Trimech is a leading Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Services Provider with branches strategically located in Young, Bowral and Parkes. 

We are currently seeking a Business Manager to join our team.  

This is a fulltime position located at our Head Office in Young. 


This position has a broad scope of responsibilities that would suit a business minded professional with a background in the professional services industry, project management or commercial management. 

To be clear, we are seeking an all rounder that can support the Technical Team through the efficient management and leadership of the Finance, Systems, Operations, Human Resources and Business Development to allow the Technical Team to get on with servicing our customers. 

The Business Manager would work closely with the Technical Services Manager and report directly to the Managing Director. The Business Manager must be a self-starter and prepared to take on a leadership role in the business.  


  • Ensure the efficient running of the Young office, with wider management responsibility for other branch locations. 

  • Be an integral part of the management team – attending staff meetings, improving processes, implementing new procedures to ensure the efficiency and productivity of the firm. 

  • Project Management of non-technical projects as required.  

  • Involvement in all aspects of the Administration as required to gain a solid understanding of key roles. 

  • Develop positive working relationships with staff at all levels and assist in the development and success of team members. 


Experience, Skills and Attributes 

  • Prior experience in a professional services firm, project management or commercial management  

  •  Proven business acumen and operational skills, demonstrated ability to understand and manage P&L. 

  • A motivated individual who exhibits initiative and the ability to identify where processes can be improved. 

  • A proven track record of project management and systems implementation. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong computing skills is essential. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  

  • Proven ability to work as part of a team to achieve desired outcomes. 

  • Well-presented and display workplace professionalism. 

  • Degree/ Certificate III in Management/ Finance or similar desirable but not essential

Trimech Pty Ltd is currently looking for an apprentice Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our progressive team in the Southern Highlands NSW. 


The successful applicant will have:

  • A genuine interest in the air conditioning trade
  • Sound computer skills
  • A current drivers licence and reliable transport
  • Satisfactory completion of Year 11
  • A willingness to learn
  • Good manual handling techniques and safety focus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic

Trimech Pty Ltd is currently looking for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic who is interested in joining our progressive team in the Southern Highlands NSW.

-      A solid understanding of the refrigeration process

-      Experience and exposure to air conditioner and refrigeration,    

       installation, maintenance & repairs

-      A keen interest in sharing knowledge and developing others

-      A refrigeration technician licence

 -      A current driver’s licence

-      A restricted electrical licence would be beneficial
